Follow these 5 simple steps and your DRIVO robot will be fully paired, online, and monitoring your vehicle before you even leave the driveway.
Your DRIVO unit ships in a sealed matte-black box. Inside you'll find the robot, a USB-C charging cable, magnetic dash mount, OBD-II adapter, and a printed quick-reference card.
Plug DRIVO in via USB-C and let it charge for at least 30 minutes before first use. Attach the magnetic dash mount on a flat surface inside your vehicle — dashboard or center console works best.
Once placed on a flat surface, hold the power button on DRIVO's chest for 3 seconds until the face display lights up and the status LED turns green. You'll hear a startup chime — that's DRIVO saying hello.
Once booted, DRIVO's screen will display a QR code. Use your phone camera to scan it — this opens the DRIVO app download page directly. Alternatively, search "DRIVO" on the App Store or Google Play.
Open the DRIVO app and tap "Add New Device". The app will detect DRIVO via Bluetooth and walk you through connecting the OBD-II adapter to your car's diagnostic port (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side). Once connected, DRIVO begins monitoring your vehicle.
DRIVO is now paired to your vehicle and ready to go. It will learn your driving habits over the first few days and personalize its responses. Just start your engine — DRIVO takes care of the rest.
